Moonface; His Glow
With Moonface I encountered a problem. Within the scene there is only green/blue lighting, which made the character himself green and blue, whereas I wanted to create him as white, with a glow around him. I managed to get past this with a few tests that enabled me to control a smaller environment without me having to render the entire scene. I started with two versions of Moonface; one that I could create into a mesh light which would be hidden within the other model of the character, and one that would only be lit by a Skydome light, so the light wouldn't light the rest of the scene. These together created with character with his original colour and texture because we could now produce a white light for the character and manage the glow he could create; changing the colour which would also affect our other character as he has a soft orange glow
