Background work

For my background work I was asked to re-work on an old piece of my art. I didn't have much with me so I was able to find a piece that I was able to use on my computer, which I imported onto Photoshop so I could work on it. 

I wanted to make the background seem a lot more distant than the point of focus on the image, so I attempted to fade out most of it.
